Kevin Johnson

Kevin is a singer, songwriter, adapter, and discoverer of hidden gems. His music is rooted in the vibrant Shetland scene, and enriched through singing and playing in folk clubs, blues and jazz bands and musical theatre over the years, as well as good-time cover bands across the globe.

These days he plays mainly in pubs and clubs in Herts, Essex and Cambs–accompanied by some fine fingerstyle guitar, or the occasional mandolin or piano.

His songs are lyrical – designed to provoke, move, or simply celebrate life. Variety is ensured, and participation may well be required.
