String Section

The String Section with Dave Olney are a toe-tappin’ quartet from Cambridge who blend violin, mandolin, guitar, double bass and vocals in a genuinely trans-Atlantic style. Regulars on the acoustic scene, their skill on their respective instruments is

infectious. The quartet play a lively mix of traditional, modern and self-penned fiddle tunes, folk, country, blues and Americana. They performed at the 2019 Cambridge Folk Festival, the 2021 Ely Folk Festival and have been featured on BBC radio, Cambridge 105 and Huntingdon Community Radio.
